This is huge by any yardstick. “Rangasthalam” is all set to touch $2 million this weekend itself.
The film has already touched $1.3 million on First day (premiere + Friday). The trade is expecting that it would touch the $2 million figure by Sunday.
In his decade-long career, Ram Charan has not scored a $2 million movie yet. In fact, he breached into $ 1 million club with “Dhruva” only. His films were not considered to be hot in overseas. Now he is killing it with “Rangasthalam”.
If it reaches $2 million, it would be consecutive such massive hit for director Sukumar. His previous film “Nannaku Prematho” also grossed $2 million at US box-office.
“Rangasthalam” is period-revenge drama set in the fictitious village called Rangasthalam in tribal agency of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.
