Srivari Vaibhavotsavam In Dallas

Srivari Vaibhavotsavam In Dallas

The Almighty is preparing Himself to shower His eternal grace in Dallas yet again. In this Kaliyuga the ultimate moksha is to embrace the feet of Lord Venkateswara. By doing so, one will get the blessings of the Lord.

Devotees who yearn to see a single seva of the Lord will be fortunate to watch over 10 sevas being offered to the Lord.

It is a known fact that due to space constraints, not all get a chance to witness sevas in the sanctum sanctorum temple, as such there is ever growing demand for witnessing such sevas.

Keeping in mind of such desires, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (T.T.D) has started the unique concept of Srivari Vaibhavotsavam, in short this will be A Day at Tirumala!

A replica of the Ananda Nilayam where the Lord of Kaliyuga resides will be built and showcased to the devotees. Archakas and Veda Pandits exclusively from TTD will be performing the Vaibhavotsavam with the Utsava idols brought from T.T.D.

On Saturday 26th, the event will start with Suprabhatam which is a collection of shlokas/verses sung early in the morning while waking Him up.

The verses are sung praising the Lord and thinking about His glory. It is then followed by Sahasra Kalasaabhishekam an offering to Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murthi the silver replica deity of Moola Virat.

One Thousand and Eight Silver Vessels filled with Abhisheka Theertha otherwise known as the ‘Parimala Teertham’. Seldom do we get opportunity to witness such Holy rituals. Then it is Sarvadarshanam time for the devotees, blessed are those devotees who make the darshan of the Supreme Lord!

Later in the evening it is time for Vasanthotsavam, a seva symbolizing the oncoming of spring where the Lord and His Consorts are given aromatic bath and beautifully decorated in the mandapam.

Upon completion of Vasanthotsavam, the Veedhi Utsavam is performed where the presiding deity along with His Consorts are taken in procession for devotees to witness in close quarters and the last ritual of the day Ekanta Seva is performed by putting the Lord to sleep!

On Sunday 27th, the event starts yet again with Suprabhatam the daily ritual by singing hymns in praise of the Supreme Lord! Then comes a ritual that comes once in a lifetime, the Abhishekam.

While performing the Abhishekam to the Moola Virat, Purushasukta, Narayanasukta, Srisukta, Bhusuktha, Neelasuktha and selected Pasurams from the Divya Pradbandham are all recited by the priests.

Later, the Abhishekam is performed for the image of Goddess Lakshmi on his chest with Turmeric Paste. They say there is a wait period of 25 years for this seva and only a few fortunate get to witness this ritual! Then it is Sarvadarshanam time for the devotees.

Later in the evening, the program will culminate with Kalyana Mahotsavam that marks an hour-long celestial wedding performed by the pundits for the Utsava Moorthis of the Lord with His Consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi.

The event is open to all devotees to witness the Vaibhavotsavam. Arrangements are being made to provide free parking, free breakfast, Maha Prasadam Lunch for each devotee. This lifetime event is being brought to Dallas by Supatham in conjunction with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.
