Paritala Sushanth detained at airport

Hyderabad: Paritala Sushanth, an American national of Indian origin, faced detention at the RGI Airport and was subsequently charged for causing a disturbance at the immigration counter within the international arrivals area. He also caused damage to a kiosk when requested to provide details of his stay in India.

Sushanth was handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and later to the airport police. A case was registered against him, initiating an investigation.

Authorities explained that Shashank, 28 years old and a professional designer, arrived in the city from Chicago via Abu Dhabi. He refused to cooperate with immigration officials and vandalized a kiosk, resulting in the breakage of a glass counter and damage to two computers.

R. Srinivas, the station house officer of the RGI Airport police station, revealed that apart from filing a case, a formal notice was issued to Sushanth.

It was stated that Sushanth claimed to have a hotel reservation in Kompally, but he couldn't provide evidence of the booking and displayed aggressive behavior.
