A family from Davangere, Karnataka, tragically lost three members to an apparent suicide incident on Friday in Baltimore, Maryland, in the United States. However, the precise cause of their deaths remains unknown.

The grieving family has appealed to the government for assistance in repatriating the mortal remains of the deceased individuals: Yogesh Honnala (37), Pratibha Honnala (35), and Yash Honnala (6). They had been residing in the United States for the past nine years.

Shobha, Yogesh's mother, shared with media that the Baltimore police contacted them on August 19, informing them of the apparent suicides. Nevertheless, an investigation is currently underway to ascertain the reasons behind this tragic event.

The family originally hails from Halekal village in Jagalur taluk but has been residing in Vidyanagar, Davangere, for the past 25 years. Yogesh's father had passed away some years ago.

Shobha further expressed, "My son and daughter-in-law had been leading a happy married life in the US for the past nine years. We are perplexed as to what led them to take such a drastic step. We are eager to uncover the truth."
