With the Swine Flu fear still dancing on everyone’s heads, the nail on the head was hit when severe floods lashed out in parts of the state creating a major havoc and destruction. All these are being seen as a prelude to what is being called as the ‘End of the world’ or ‘Doomsday’.
Apparently, there is a theory floating that December 21st, 2012, the world will come to an end and that is due to a major natural calamity, plague or for that matter, a war. This is being deemed as the doomsday and some say that the only way this can be avoided is by following few steps.
- Love all, including your enemy, as you love yourself
- Treat animals with care and try to love them as you love humans
- Donate money or food for needy and the people those are in pain
- Give moral support for those who are in grief and depression
- Don’t hurt anyone with harsh words or deeds
- Kill your anger as it kills your spiritual growth
- Talk only good about others and overlook bad
- Respect elders and shower love on them although they appear rude
- Live for society as you live for your wife and children
Sages and astrologers said that only love and charity will protect human beings from doomsday or from getting into the painful shackles of Karma. Those who are God fearing (or Universal theory of Karma) and also have the fear of sin and believe in contributing to the welfare of the society through charity and other gestures will make up for the protection. Guess this is what is called the karmic balance of the earth.
