Venkat, the son of Congress leader Keshav Rao and alleged killer of realtor Prashant Reddy was proved not guilty of murder a few weeks back. We all know that the wife of Prashant has made rounds around police, court and even Pawan Kalyan's CMPF for justice. She was shown helpless hands by all these. The great Power Star said that his CMPF wouldn't involve in personal matters of anybody. Then why the court has involved in personal matter with Nandini?
Pratyusha, the shining actress was raped and killed by a rogue who was bailed out and sent to USA to live happily. How he could get Visa when a murder case was running in the court? Only the lawyers, justice and Chandrababu (the CM in those days) should know.
Yuvarathna Balakrishna, the star icon had shot into news all of a sudden with a 'shooting episode'. Producer Bellamkonda Suresh and astrologer Satyanarana Choudary were hospitalized after eating bullets from Balayya's licensed revolver. Media cameras surrounded him. Blind fans attempted suicides for arresting their screen god. Balayya was admitted in Care Hospital (don't know why). Media wasn't allowed inside to take statements from Bellamkonda or Satyanarayana Choudary. Even police managed to save the image of Balayya Babu. After a pleasant drama, Balayya was left without any severe interrogation or arrest. He acted in Okka Mogadu as patriot, in Pandurangadu as devotee and God and has freshly climbed the stage of Yuvagarjana and tried to influence people for attracting votes to TDP.
Manohar, the murderer of a girl Sri Latha in Vijayawada was jailed and still breathing the air peacefully.
But contrary to all these, Shakhamuri Srinivas, the acid attacker on Swapnika and Praneetha, was killed in police encounter along with his friends those helped him in the attack.
The question is what law and order is doing for celebrities and people with big influence. And what it has done to Shakhamuri Srinivas which is appreciable. Although the human rights leaders and sympathizers condemn the encounter, the people and women folks are happy towards it. Although Human Rights put fingers in these issues, it should know that majority people are satisfied with this encounter. And here is a question for police. Can you do the same act if there is any celebrity in the place of Shakhamuri Srinivas? Then you will be saluted not with hands but with hearts and souls of people. Criminals shiver listening to the word 'police' only when you don't spare the celebrities/ influential persons/ Toms, Dicks and Harrys / Whoever when omitted crime.
People lose impression on police, law and order and politicians only when celebrities are spared. Everybody should be treated equal before law- be it Balakrishna, Venkat, Pratyusha's murderer, Manohar or Shakhauri Srinivas.
