Hyderabad: TDP leader Subhash Reddy was hopeful of contesting in the GHMC polls from Banjara Hills division. However, the seat was given to BJP as part of the alliance.
Subhash Reddy is a close friend of Pawan Kalyan and the latter immediately took up the issue with TDP. He let it be known that Subhash Reddy be given the ticket.
TDP Hyderabad City President Gopinath then called up Pawan and informed the latter that they were unable to give a ticket to Subhash Reddy as the seat was reserved for the BJP.
Following this, supporters of Subhash Reddy held a dharna outside NTR Trust Bhavan to express their anger. But it is unlikely that Subhash Reddy will realize his dream currently, at least on a TDP ticket.
