Rs 830 Crore Mansion - Now 5 Years In Jail

Billionaire businessman Balvinder Singh Sahni, also known as Abu Sabah, was sentenced to five years in prison by a Dubai court for money laundering through a criminal group.

Along with the jail term, he was fined Rs 1.15 crore, and Rs 33 crore will be seized from him. Deportation will follow after his sentence ends.

Sahni, born in Kuwait to Punjabi parents, built his fortune through the RSG Group, which operates in real estate and investments across the UAE, India, US, and South Asia.

His company is behind major luxury projects like Qasr Sabah and Sabah Rotana in Dubai.

He gained media attention for his extravagant lifestyle—buying the “D5” car plate for Rs 80 crore, spending Rs 10 crore on a mobile number, and living in a Rs 830 crore Dubai mansion filled with Rolls-Royces and custom furniture.

His home even features a Bugatti Chiron on display.

Despite his flashy image, Sahni also gave back to society — building hospitals and elder care homes in Punjab and donating during the COVID-19 crisis.

He once won the Sikh Businessman of the Year award, but now faces disgrace after his conviction.
