Nandyal model won't work every time, Mr Naidu!

Ridiculing Chandrababu Naidu for his rhetoric and tall claims of Nandyal model in the ensuing elections, YSR Congress has said that the initial set-back was temporary and in the final battle the results would be different.

YSRC MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy said it was ridiculous to take Nandyal result as an yardstick as it was held with various factors that would not be common in other constituencies.

“Chandrababu Naidu has been boasting of the result as his greatness and trying to give credit to development plank and other such issues which were not relevant during the polls. The result could be a seen as an initial setback for us but Pandavas too faced many reverses in the initial days at the hands of Kauravas in Mahabharata only to win the final battle decisively and that is what would happen in 2019 general elections,” he said.

Reddy said Naidu has been telling his cadre to be talking the real time politics  but in fact the TDP leader had always been politicising everything to his advantage.

While the state is reeling under severe drought and as he is synonymous to drought, the Chief Minister speaking of water wealth sounds awful as the water sources of Krishna River at Nagarjuna sagar and Srisailam have been drying up with every passing day.

Though the neighboring state has been building numerous projects on River Godavari, Naidu is not raising his voice as he has to wriggle out of the cash for vote case and he is also not raising objection to Karnataka government as he is placing personal interests ahead of state interests.

“People will teach him a fitting lesson at the right time as they are vexed with his governance and no Chief Minister had ever threatened the voter that he cannot make use of the public utilities if he or she does not vote for the ruling party,” he said.
