Telangana Congress on Tuesday ridiculed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his foreign tours and described him as event manager for doing nothing in the past one year and visiting foreign countries.
Addressing the media, party leaders P Prabhakar, Rajaiah, Venkata Ramana Reddy said that the PM spent most of the time in the foreign countries than in the country in the past one year. They said that the PM toured foreign countries for 18 times and behaving like an event manager.
They criticized that the Prime Minister was pushing the nation into the troubles though he made tall promises on bringing black money stashed in foreign countries and creating employment opportunities, before the elections.
Congress leaders said that the Union Government was more interested in pomp than on solving the problems being faced by the people, there was no control on the prices and petrol price was raised eight times.
