It'll be all Reddy fight in Nalgonda!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has not yet taken any decision on asking Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy to resign and hold by-elections to the Nalgonda Lok Sabha seat.

But speculations have started flying thick and high over the possible contestants.

According to these speculations, KCR is contemplating fielding his party MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy to contest the MP election from Nalgonda.

Palla had, in fact, lost to Gutha in the last elections and so, he is the right candidate now.

However, Palla seems to be not interested in fighting from Nalgonda, but from Khammam in 2019 elections.

The Congress party has two options. First, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who is not in good terms with PCC president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy, who thinks he can get rid of Komatireddy by sending him to Lok Sabha.

Even if the party loses, it will be a blessing in disguise for Uttam, as Komatireddy cannot be a match for him since he lost the elections.

The second option for the Congress is to field Uttam’s wife Padmavathi Reddy, who lost the elections from Suryapet last time.

The TDP is contemplating fielding its firebrand MLA from Kodangal A Revanth Reddy, who it feels can give tough fight to the TRS.

In case, the TDP has to leave the seat to the ally BJP, the latter is likely to field former MP Nallu Indrasena Reddy.

And if Komatireddy joins the BJP, he will be the automatic choice for the BJP as well, say sources.

So, it will be all Reddy fight in Nalgonda!
