Telangana Chief Minister KCR has included two of his family members in the state cabinet. So, there are rumours that Balakrishna might be made a minister in the Andhra Pradesh cabinet.
Earlier, there was a lot of suspense before Balakrishna filed his nomination for Hindupur MLA seat. Since then, there have been demands to make Balakrishna the Chief Minister or at least the party president.
Then, the latest rumour was that Chandra Babu had offered a minister post to Balakrishna and that the latter turned it down.
However, when Balayya was asked for a clarification, he simply said, “I will take up any post if my brother-in-law insists.”
Now, this is indirectly hinting that he is ready to serve as a minister in Chandra Babu’s cabinet. But there is one hitch here. Chandra Babu is known to be a shrewd politician who does not entertain any element that might become a problem for him in future. He is especially careful of any family members from the Nandamuri clan.
On the other hand, Balayya is saying that he will accept any post if Babu asks him. Now, if Balakrishna actually asks for a particular post, Babu might find it difficult to say no.
