There has been ongoing talk that senior Congress leader and ex PCC chief D Srinivas might be joining TRS soon. In fact, a section of media had reported the same though it did not mention his name.
According to the story, it is being said that he is unhappy being in Congress and is preparing himself to join TRS. However, the story simply mentioned a Congress biggie and incidentally D Srinivas happens to be the only biggie from Nizamabad.
Though ex minister Sudarsan Reddy is another prominent member, his name has never come up in such matters. Another reason the story says is AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh refusing to meet D Srinivas during his trip to the city.
In fact, Srinivas is of the opinion that Digvijay was the reason behind his not getting an MLC seat. Hence, it is being said that Srinivas is keen on joining the TRS.
Meanwhile, TRS MLA Bajireddy Govardhan Reddy is said to be opposing his entry into TRS. But the big question is will a senior leader like Srinivas quit Congress and join TRS? In fact, Srinivas is said to share a good rapport with Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
Since the story mentioned a Congress biggie, all eyes have turned to D Srinivas.
