BJP sees sharp rise in corruption in AP!

That all is not well between Bharatiya Janata Party and its political ally Telugu Desam Party was once again evident from the comments made by the BJP leaders at Sankalp Siddi meeting at Amaravati on Wednesday.

At the meeting which was attended by Union health minister J P Nadda and BJP minister in the Chandrababu Naidu cabinet Kamineni Srinivas, party’s floor leader in the assembly B Vishnu Kumar Raju said the corruption in high places had grown multifold in the last three years.

“Especially, the political corruption has gone to the peak, though the Narendra Modi government at the Centre is taking utmost care to see that there is corruption free governance in AP,” he said.

Raju said the Naidu government was caught in the quagmire of corruption in AP, but no action was being taken by the rulers.

He said that he has received over 3000 complaints from Visakha land scam victims, but till date not a single leader was arrested or prosecuted.

Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas said that although he works as minister in the State government, he was trying to be free from all scandals and corrupt deeds.

“I work according to the party's principles and I fully support corrupt free governance led by Modi,” he said.
