Trisha Charges A Bomb For 'Queen' Remake?

Bollywood film Queen starring Kangna Ranaut in the lead role has turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2014. Impressed with the story-line, Kollywood producer Thyagarajan has grabbed the remake rights of the film recently for an undisclosed price.

Ever since the announcement of the film was made, several actresses were approached by the makers to play Rani, a self-made girl originally played by Kangna in both Telugu and Tamil versions.

And one actress who is a strong contender to play the lead in the bilingual is Trisha.

Industry sources say that Trisha has demanded Rs 1.25 crore to sing the dotted line and also imposed a condition that she will act in the film only if a top filmmaker don’s the director’s hat.

However, Thyagarajan is not ready to shell out nothing more than Rs 1 crore to her and is exploring for different options, says a source.
