Kalyan Ram's 'Ism' has done fairly good business in its first weekend in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states but the movie was a disaster in USA market.
Due to pre-release hype around the film and no competition from any other movie, Kalyan Ram attracted the mass audiences to the theatres. A good number of collections are reported in mass centers.
In total the film collected approximately Rs 6.60 Cr in its first weekend in AP and Telangana. In USA the movie is a complete washout at the box-office.
Although the premiere numbers were decent, the movie didn’t attract the Telugu audiences in USA over the weekend. It barely grossed 100k dollars and the distributors would be losing heavily.
