A mass movie always gets better openings than a class movie. This has been proved again.
Nithin has scored biggest blockbuster with "A Aa" last year but he has failed to pull the audiences with "LIE" as audiences in rural areas didn't show much interest on the movie on opening day.
Nithiin's "LIE" took in just Rs 2.28Cr in AP and Telangana on Day 1. Clearly, Nithin has not done right promotion to take the movie to masses.
On the other hand, director Boyapati Srinu has shown his strength at box-office.
While "Nene Raju Nene Mantri" and "LIE" have stars as the lead actors, Boyapati's movie doesn't boast a star. Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas starrer has raked in Rs 3.27 cr in its opening day which is almost Rs one crore more than Nithin's movie.
