Sr. Software Engineers Hurdling MBAs

The struggle for survival tends to bring out some of the most innate abilities of a human being and no matter what he has been doing for years, he would simply be open to take up any task that he feels he is good at when things go wrong. Something like that seems to be happening due to the recession.

It was during the dot com bubble blast when many IT professionals were seen getting into other industries and using their experience and aptitude they were able to find their feet. This led to the already existing folk trying to scramble for their employments and ultimately cling on to what they have got.

Now, something similar is said to be happening now as many IT pros who have been team leaders and are now jobless are getting into other non IT firms in the post of managers and other positions and this is leading the fresh MBAs and those who are academically qualified in the lurch. Call it competition or cut throat world, but this is a fact that we must learn to live with.
