None other than the Mayor Maher Maso of DFW Metroplex has declared July 12th, 2015 as “Sri. Srinivasa Kalyanam Day”! With the Mayor himself proclaiming all attention is towards Dr. Pepper Arena where the event is bracing to happen.
It is a known fact that due to space constraints, everybody would not get a chance of witnessing sevas in the sanctum sanctorum temple, as such there is ever growing demand for witnessing such sevas including Kalyanotsavam, the event can be conducted anywhere since it is being performed to the Utsava deities.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is performing the Srinivasa Kalyanam in Dallas. Archakas and Veda Pandits exclusively from TTD will be performing the Kalyanam with the Utsava idols brought from TTD. Apart from Puja material, the world famous Tirupathi Laddu Prasadam and Ammavari Kumkuma is also being brought.
The Kalyanam is being performed in Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco. This is a huge facility with a capacity to accommodate thousands of devotees. Apart from Kalyanam, the Archakas will also be performing Suprabhata Seva, Thomala Seva and other Sevas.
With Veda Mantras, Songs on Lord Venkateswara and Nada Swaram being played, and scores of devotees chanting Govinda Namam, it is going it be a sacred, devotional and great experience for one and all. Sponsors get an opportunity to participate in Kalyanam as a 'Gruhasta'. Devotees will get to be part of the Lord Venkateswara's wedding entourage; which will be a unique and Divine experience.
The event is open to all devotees for witnessing the Kalyanam. Arrangements are being made to provide Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Maha Prasadam Lunch and a Tirupati Laddu for each devotee. This lifetime event is being brought to Dallas by Sanathana Dharma Foundation in conjunction with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.
