Why Etala deputed his wife to dismiss 'party change' reports?

Speculations have been rife in political circles for the past few days regarding BJP MLA Etala Rajender's dissatisfaction with the BJP national leadership's lenient approach towards KCR.

There are rumors that Etala may quit the BJP and join the Congress to challenge the BRS in the upcoming Assembly polls.

However, Etala has not provided any clarity on this matter. On Monday, journalists in Telangana received a message from Etala's PRO stating that Etala Rajender and his wife Jamuna would hold a press conference on Tuesday.

This sudden announcement of a press conference created a stir in Telangana's political landscape, fueling speculations that Etala might reveal his future course of action.

But within a few hours on Monday, Etala's PRO sent another message to journalists stating that the press conference had been canceled and that Jamuna, Etala's wife, would address the press conference on Tuesday.

Media personnel rushed to cover Jamuna's press conference on Tuesday. Jamuna clarified that Etala would not switch parties and emphasized that Etala is not the kind of leader who frequently changes parties for political gain.

Jamuna stated that Etala did not leave the BRS; rather, it was KCR who expelled him from the party due to his rising popularity in Telangana politics.

However, the question arises: why did Etala delegate the task of dismissing the speculations about changing parties to his wife? Etala himself could have addressed the press conference to provide clarity to the media.

This situation has led to suspicions among political circles that Etala may still be reconsidering changing parties and that he avoided facing the media to play it safe.

If he were to change parties in the future, he could claim that he never explicitly stated that he would not switch parties and that his wife dismissed such reports due to a "miscommunication."
