The highly publicized “Trump Towers” project at Golden Mile, Kokapet, has come under legal scrutiny after senior landowner Mr. Ram Reddy Nandela issued a public notice stating that he has not given any consent for the development of the property.
According to the legal notice published by Advocate K. Raghava Ramana, Mr. Nandela, a 77-year-old businessman and co-owner of a 12,602-square-yard land parcel in Survey No. 109, Kokapet Village, Gandipet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana, holds an undivided share of 425 square yards.
The land was jointly purchased along with IRA Realty Tech Pvt. Ltd. and 13 other individuals/entities through a registered sale deed in 2019.
The notice clearly states that Mr. Nandela was neither consulted nor did he give any consent, permission, or authority — explicit or implied — for any development on the said property under the “Trump Towers” name or any other.
This directly contradicts media reports suggesting that the Trump Towers project is in its final stages of obtaining necessary clearances.
Furthermore, the notice alleges that certain co-owners are attempting to unilaterally sell or deal with the entire extent of the land without Mr. Nandela’s knowledge or consent.
Such actions, the notice states, amount to fraudulent conduct and are legally unsustainable.
In light of these developments, the general public, financial institutions, developers, and other stakeholders have been strictly cautioned against entering into any transactions related to the said property.
The notice warns that any such dealings would be at the sole risk of the parties involved and would not bind Mr. Nandela in any manner.
Legal action may be pursued if any unauthorized transactions are carried out. The notice emphasizes that Mr. Nandela and his legal team are prepared to challenge such acts in appropriate legal forums.
As the controversy unfolds, attention now turns to the developers and stakeholders involved in the Trump Towers Hyderabad project.
The issue highlights the legal complexities and potential risks involved in large-scale real estate ventures, especially where multiple ownership and unclear consents exist.
