Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has projected that the NDA will secure between 214 to 240 Lok Sabha seats in the forthcoming general elections, downplaying the BJP’s forecast of surpassing 400 seats this time.
During an interview with Rajat Sharma on Aap Ki Adaalat on Saturday night, Revanth mentioned that in 2019, when the BJP won 303 seats, it secured 95% of the seats in Delhi, UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Gujarat combined.
He humorously remarked that if the BJP aims to win 400 seats this time, they might need to secure victories in Pakistan as well, drawing laughter from the audience.
Revanth further forecasted that the BJP, which clinched 27 out of 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka in 2019, would not be able to secure more than 12 seats there and would be limited to just 2 seats in Telangana.
Addressing the issue of the Ram Mandir’s Bala Rama's statue inauguration in Ayodhya, Revanth noted that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi initiated the 'Silanyaas' there to facilitate Hindu worship.
When asked about Congress, including Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, not participating in the ceremony, Revanth questioned why Modi didn’t visit the Bhadrachalam temple where the annual wedding of Lord Rama and Sita takes place.
Revanth criticized Modi's leadership by questioning his commitment to the ideals of Lord Rama.
He suggested that Modi should maintain a neutral stance and focus on governing rather than indulging in religious matters.
Regarding the controversial statements made by Tamil Nadu minister Udayanidhi Stalin, Revanth stated that both DMK and BJP were exploiting such issues for political gain.
He emphasized that such statements have no place in the country and vowed to convey this to DMK leaders if he meets them.

Revanth alleged that the same businessman who allegedly gave money to Kejriwal had donated significant sums to the BJP through electoral bonds.
He urged the BJP to acknowledge that they are not fundamentally different from other parties in terms of corruption.
Revanth also questioned BJP's slogan of pulling corrupt politicians from other parties into their fold, suggesting it contradicts their anti-corruption stance.
