KTR, Harish To Neutralise Eatala In Huzurabad!

If reports appearing in a section of media are to be believed, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to use his two major trouble shooters – his son K T Rama Rao and nephew T Harish Rao – to neutralise sacked health minister Eatala Rajender in his assembly constituency Huzurabad.

According to the reports which quoted the TRS sources, KCR has realised that Eatala, all said and done, has built up a lot of influence in his Huzurabad constituency and even in the adjacent assembly constituencies.

Though the TRS is very strong in this area, it is only because of Eatala’s personal clout. KCR has specific information that Eatala wields a lot of clout among the party leaders and cadre in Huzurabad.

“If the TRS has to conquer this constituency after Eatala’s exit from the party, we have to alienate Eatala from the party cadres. For that, the party requires strong leadership in the area,” a party sources said.

According to the media reports, KCR is planning to rope in his son KTR and nephew Harish Rao to work out strategies to strengthen the TRS in Huzurabad, post-exit of Eatala from the party and see that the party cadre doesn’t go behind him.

As part of the strategy, KTR is expected to tour Huzurabad to take up a series of developmental works in June. He would also address a few meetings of the party leaders and convince them that the party is stronger than an individual.

He is also expected to offer several incentives to the local leadership to see that they remained with the party.

On the other hand, Harish Rao, too, has been entrusted with the task of consolidating the TRS vote bank at the grassroots level and see that Eatala gets alienated.

Since Huzurabad is very close to Siddipet, Harish, too, wields a lot of influence in the area and that will help him strengthen the party, sources said.
