Chiranjeevi Not to Campaign for Konda

A prominent news channel today reported that Megastar Chiranjeevi has given his approval for campaign plan for his relative Konda Vishweshwar Reddy.

Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, a director in Apollo Group is husband of Sangita Reddy, Managing director of Apollo Hospitals is contesting for Chevella seat. Incidentally Sangita Reddy is pinni (mother's sister) to Upasana, wife of Ram Charan.

It is said that Upasana requested his father-in-law to campaign for Konda Vishweshwar Reddy who is contesting as MP on congress ticket from Chevella, a suburb of Hyderabad.

Konda switched to Congress from TRS just before Telangana assembly polls angering Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. For Konda, this has become prestige issue. The richest MP from Telangana wants to retain its seat at any cost.

Chiranjeevi would not dare campaigning for Konda as it would spoil his friendship with KCR.

Chiranjeevi reportedly declined Konda's request and left for Japan. Chiranjeevi will return to Hyderabad just a day before polling day. He is shooting for "Sye Raa" in Japan.

Chiranjeevi is currently not active in politics.
