Jana Sena party president and actor Pawan Kalyan has been denying reports that he has been working as an agent of the Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Rashtra Samithi in Telangana, so as to split the opposition parties.
But going by the ongoing tour in Anantapur, it is clearly evident that Pawan has been friendly with the TDP, rather than being an opposition party leader.
On Sunday, Pawan had a breakfast meeting with Andhra minister Paritala Sunitha and her son Paritala Sriram, an aspiring politician.
He spent over an hour discussing the local politics and issues concerning Anantapur district.
The meeting raised many eyebrows in the wake of reports that Pawan had land disputes with Paritala family in the past and there were also rumours that Sunitha’s husband Paritala Ravi had got Pawan’s head tonsured.
Secondly, it is for the first time that the Jana Sena Party president had been to Paritala’s house.
While Pawan said he had come to meet Sunitha only for courtesy, she refuted the rumours of her husband having differences with the actor.
On Friday, Pawan also met another TDP leader and MLA Prabhakar Chowdary and discussed political issues.
Now, the question is why Pawan had chosen to visit only the TDP leaders? Why didn’t he go to the houses of YSR Congress party leaders like Vishweshwar Reddy if he had no political affinity with any party? Why didn’t he try to meet Congress chief N Raghuveera Reddy who also hails from the same district?
