TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu used Mamata Benerjee's political image for his own mileage just before the 2019 general elections.
Later Mamata lamented that Chandrabbau made her a fool in the name of anti BJP stand. TDP lost miserably in AP in the 2019 elections. At the same time as BJP won at the center Chandrababu has been in mute mode.
But Mamata continued her fight with Modi even after. She won her power in West Bengal after her victorious electoral battle.
Since 2019, Chandrababu has been maintaining distance from Mamata Benerjee. Though she tried several times to call him, he didn't talk to her. There was also news that she expressed her disgust for Chandrababu to her friends.
Amidst all this, she recently opened up the Pegasus scam of Chandrababu Naidu. She alleged that he bought that and asked her to be part of it. That has brought tumult in AP politics.
Pegasus software is known for its tapping technology into the whatsapp chats and phone calls of others. Already YCP leaders suspected that their phones were getting tapped in a big way.
Now with Mamata's allegations, those suspicions are gaining veracity. Finally, Mamata took her revenge on Chandrababu by exposing his grey side.
It should also be recalled how Omar Abdullah exposed Chandrababu's disloyal and backstabbing nature.
He explained how they extended political support to him when asked for and how Chandrababu ignored them without even releasing a statement when they were actually in house arrest.
