Jagan or KCR, who damaged Kammas?

Jagan or KCR, who damaged Kammas?

Kammas in the Telugu states, or even settled elsewhere in the world are up in arms against Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

One after the other, the leaders from the community have been speaking against Jagan and criticising the AP government.

Leave alone the TDP Kammas, those in the Left parties and even the secular and progressive Kammas in other parties are also targeting Jagan Mohan Reddy and treating them as his rivals. In the process, they are forgetting the fact who isolated them first.

It was TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao who targeted the Kammas and isolated them from the rest of the communities.

He drew them away from Telangana with bifurcation and that resulted in financial crisis for them. There was a threat to their investments in and around Hyderabad initially.

After bifurcation, they came back to Andhra Pradesh and invested in Amaravati. However, they were defeated here too and their investments are at stake. Now, they look at Jagan as their enemy number one.

They did not meet Jagan as they used to meet every chief minister. The industrialists, the business persons, those from the film industry, everyone from the community refused to meet Jagan. This is because they have by default believing that Jagan is their enemy.

That is the impact that Ramoji Rao of Eenadu, Radha Krishna of Andhra Jyothi and Chandrababu Naidu of TDP have left on the entire community.

The enemy or rival of Chandrababu Naidu had thus been projected as the enemy of entire community by Ramoji Rao and Radha Krishna. In the process, the community failed to realise that it was KCR who targeted them first and who laid the path for their fall.

It is time that the Kammas stop looking at Jagan through the eyes of Chandrababu Naidu. They should stop hearing about Jagan from the vices of Ramoji Rao and Radha Krishna. They should learn to use their eyes and ears, before a greater damage is done to them.
