The Rajya Sabha was Thursday adjourned till noon as members protested the proposed formation of a Telangana state.
As soon as the house met for the day, members raised slogans for a united Andhra Pradesh and created din in the house.
Chairman Hamid Ansari adjourned the house.
After failing to introduce the bill in the Rajya Sabha yesterday, the government will table the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation bill in Rajya Sabha today at 3 pm.
The Winter Session of Parliament, the last of the current Lok Sabha, ends tomorrow and the government is keen on passing the legislation today itself.
