YSR Congress party on Saturday alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was actually helping the Centre on the bifurcation of the State, rather than stalling the same.
YSR Congress party MLA G Srikanth Reddy fired a salvo at Kiran for his attitude on bifurcation of the State.
“We have been demanding the Legislative Assembly passing a resolution to keep the state united, much before the Telangana Bill reaches the President of India, but Kiran Kumar Reddy has not paid heed to it,” he said.
He questioned as to why the Chief Minister, who claimed himself as a strong supporter of united Andhra Pradesh, had not resigned to his post immediately after announcement by the Centre on July 30 for bifurcation of the State.
“Is it not a fact that the forces under Kiran Kumar Reddy are helping the centre in bifurcation of the State?” he questioned.
