The United Arab Emirates has introduced a new nomination-based Golden Visa scheme for Indian applicants, priced at around ₹23 lakh.
Unlike earlier rules that required an investment of at least ₹4.66 crore in property or business, this scheme offers long-term residency without such high financial commitments.
The Golden Visa allows foreign nationals to live, work, or study in the UAE without needing a sponsor.
Under the new policy, eligible applicants can receive lifetime residency — an upgrade from the usual 5- or 10-year terms.
This pilot program currently applies only to Indian and Bangladeshi nationals, with over 5,000 Indians expected to apply within three months.
