YCP Rajya Sabha member Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy is reportedly almost certain to join the Bharatiya Janata Party. There are chances of him resigning from YCP anytime soon.
He is preparing to contest as a BJP candidate from Nellore with the support of the Telugu Desam Party.
It is rumored that he may announce his decision as soon as the BJP-Telugu Desam alliance is confirmed.
Recently, when Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy visited Delhi, almost all the YCP MPs welcomed him, but Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Lavu Krishna Deva Rao, and Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy were notably away from Jagan.
It is said that on the day Jagan visited Delhi, Vemireddy went to Dubai citing some personal reasons.
