After KCR proposed to the BJP and was rejected by the latter, it now remains to be seen how the relations between the TRS and MIM are going to shape up.
KCR since coming to power has gone all out to appease the Muslims almost to the point of obsequiousness.
His acts such as appointing Sania Mirza, the brand ambassador of Telangana, the ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ scheme, praising the Nizam to the skies and even going to the extent of diverting the ‘Metro Rail’ route in ‘Old City’ on the demand of MIM almost gave rise to the doubt whether KCR had converted to Islam.
He also made derogatory statements against Modi to earn the goodwill of MIM. All that is history now!
KCR’s offer to BJP has clearly revealed the kind of person that he was all along: an opportunist to the core. It will now be an interesting battle in the coming GHMC elections in Hyderabad.
