Why were Kavitha, Harish kept away from GES?

Why were Kavitha, Harish kept away from GES?

For the last two days, Hyderabad has been witnessing the most prestigious international event Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) and also the much-awaited launch of the Hyderabad Metro Rail.

Though the GES was organised by the US government and the Government of India, the Telangana government played a major role both in hosting the event, as well as making arrangements at the world-class level at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. Several sessions had the stamp of the Telangana government.

While chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was confined to just welcome address for five minutes, his son and IT minister K T Rama Rao had hogged all the limelight in the summit.

However, the person who was conspicuous by the absence was KCR’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha, the MP of Nizamabad.

In fact, the theme of the summit was women empowerment and entrepreneurship. More than half of the delegates who attended the meeting and the panellists were women.

The sessions were designed mostly for women. Since Kavitha is a prominent parliamentarian as well as a woman leader, she should have found a place in the sessions. But she completely stayed away from it or she was kept away from it.

So is the case with KCR’s nephew and irrigation minister T Harish Rao, who was kept away from the inauguration of Hyderabad Metro Rail.

Though he is not directly connected to the project, he is also a VIP but somehow, he kept himself away from the entire show.

May be KCR does not want either Kavitha or Harish to come in the way of KTR, who will be the heir apparent after the 2019 elections!
