Power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan, who tends to react on every minor issue concerning the people at least through his social media network, has conveniently remained tight-lipped over major land scams rocking the two Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Even as the opposition parties in AP and Telangana are taking to streets and raising a hue and cry over the multi-thousand crore land scams – in Miyalapur in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam in AP, there has not been a single word from Pawan Kalyan so far. He has not issued any statements demanding a CBI probe into the scams.
Sources close to him say Pawan is busy with his shooting schedules, but there are no takers for this excuse. He has been issuing statements seeking applications for the party organisational network regularly.
He also issued a statement condoling the death of Dasari Narayana Rao and C Narayana Reddy. He must have definitely gone through the land scams and so, he should have reacted to it.
So, it is really surprising as to why Pawan remained silent. People point out how he used to attack the previous Congress government on irregularities in land dealings during the 2014 election campaign.
May be, he will react only if the BJP leaders are involved in the scam and not the TDP or TRS!
