Why is Jagan angry with attack on Shah's convoy?

The aggressive comments made by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on his arch rival Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the attack on BJP national president Amit Shah’s convoy at Alipiri in Tirupati evoked strong reactions from the TDP on Sunday.

Jagan on Saturday described Naidu as a “demon” who was accidentally born as a man.

“Looking at his style of functioning one wonders whether a demon had taken birth as a human being. He was the brain behind the attack on Amit Shah and it was deliberately done at his best only to project the BJP as a villain in Karnataka elections and see that the party is defeated,” he said.

Asking the people to throw Naidu into Bay of Bengal, the YSRC leader said Naidu was worried that the BJP government at the Centre would launch a probe into the massive corruption indulged in by Naidu.

“He is actually a timid person, but tries to put up a brave front. He is scared of facing a direct battle and hence makes an indirect attack as was the case with attack on Shah’s convoy,” Jagan said.

The TDP leaders – Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and Devineni Uma – launched a counter-attack on Jagan saying there was no bigger demon than Jagan in politics.

“He seems to have gone mad in his craze for power. Why should Jagan get angry if there was an attack on Amit Shah’s convoy?” the TDP leaders asked and pointed out that the chief minister has already expressed regrets over the incident and ordered for suspension of those responsible for the same.

They alleged that people with devilish minds like Jagan and the BJP leaders were conspiring against the TDP government.

“Jagan is behaving like a psycho. He needs to be sent to hospital,” the TDP leaders observed.
