Who's linked to Bitcoin fraud? YSRC or TDP?

The Telugu Desam Party and the YSR Congress party have found yet another issue to attack each another – fraud by Bitcoin Software Services Private Limited, started by one Saikam Ramakrishna Reddy.

The TDP has alleged that Ramakrishna Reddy was a YSRC leader.

He had collected Rs 200 crore from people by promising that he would pay Rs 10 lakh if Rs 10,000 was deposited with him for three years.

He also offered Rs 1 crore returns in three years for a deposit of Rs 1 lakh.

TDP leader Varla Ramaiah said YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy should stop his padayatra and visit the houses of the victims to console them.

On Friday, YSRC official spokesman TJR Sudhakar Babu made a counter allegation stating that Ramakrishna Reddy was in fact a close associate of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh.

He pointed out that Reddy had used the images of Naidu and Lokesh in the promotional material of his Bitcoin organisation.

He dared Ramaiah for an open debate at the Prakasam Barrage on January 1 to prove who was closer to Reddy.

"If you cannot prove your allegations, the TDP has to tender an unconditional apology to Jagan or face legal action," Sudhakar Babu said.

He admitted that Reddy was once a member of the YSRC Seva Dal, but was sacked after his corrupt practices came to the fore.

The YSR Foundation had also served a legal notice on him and Reddy himself had gone public claiming that he had no links with the YSRCP, Babu said.
