Watch: Tirumala jewellery in Naidu cupboards?

In what can be called height of political allegations, YSR Congress party’s Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy on Wednesday made sensational comments stating that the missing jewellery of Lord Venkateshwara in Tirumala can be recovered from the cupboards of Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

“I have all the evidences to prove that the looted money of the TTD and missing jewellery of Lord Venkateshwara is stocked with Chandrababu Naidu. If I can’t prove it, I will quit politics,” Sai Reddy challenged.

Stating that it was not possible for Naidu to amass so much wealth with just Heritage Group profits, the YSRC leader said Naidu had definitely looted the TTD money.

He demanded that the Central investigation agencies raid his house to unearth the Tirumala wealth.

“Naidu has so much expertise that if the raids do not happen within 12 hours, he can divert all the ill-gotten wealth to foreign countries,” he said.

Retired Tirumala head priest Ramana Deekshitulu told a national channel that he had heard that kings of Chola and Pallava dynasties had hidden massive wealth under the kitchen (potu) floor to protect it from raids of Muslims and other foreign invaders.

“The present rulers had dug up the kitchen floor only to loot this wealth. This is not the work of outsiders. Naidu had appointed his own people in the TTD and got the wealth looted,” Deekshitulu said.

He also alleged that Naidu had stocked diamonds worth Rs 50 crore with another retired priest Dollar Seshadri.
