On the final day of his Rythu Bharosa Yatra in Anantpur, YS Jagan once again sought to take the high moral ground.
“When MLAs from the Congress joined the YSRCP, I made them resign and seek re-election. If Chandrababu Naidu is a man of ethics, he should ask his defectors to resign first and let them contest the elections again. The MLAs do not resign nor does the Speaker disqualify them,” said Jagan.
What Jagan should realize is that there is no way the MLAs are going to resign and seek re-election. There is no way that Chandrababu is going to oblige him in this fashion.
Besides, KCR has been following the same strategy in Telangana and still continuing to win elections which means that the people do not care.
Jagan would be better off realizing that appealing to the morals of Chandrababu is like playing the flute before a deaf man. Just no purpose in it!
