Vundavalli Not To Join Jagan Party?

Putting to rest all the speculations that he would be joining the YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, former MP from Rajahmundry Vundavalli Arun Kumar has announced that he is not going to join any political party in future nor has he any such interest.

Vundavalli, who is presently busy in writing a voluminous book on the conspiracy behind the bifurcation of erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh state, told a meeting on Sunday that he had no intention to join any political party.

“I have been expelled from the Congress party two years ago. I have not joined any other party; nor do I have any intention to join any party. I am happy with what I am now,” he said.

Last week, there were speculations that Vundavalli had almost decided to join the YSR Congress party, after Jagan went to his residence to call him on at his residence at Rajahmundry following the death of Vundavalli’s mother. Both had a one-on-one meeting for some time and it was learnt Jagan wanted the former MP to join his party.

Sources said Vundavalli had been in regular touch with his mentor K V P Ramachandra Rao and both of them had agreed to lend moral support to Jagan, though they might not join the YSR Congress party. Perhaps that is the reason why Vundavalli so openly said he was not joining any party.
