Eenadu reported that Andhra Pradesh former CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has made 51 trips to Bengaluru in recent times. Importantly, these trips were undertaken at his own expense, flying on IndiGo.
In response, in an attempt to counter this narrative, Sakshi media unearthed details of how many trips the current Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have been making between Gannavaram and Hyderabad.
Data reveals troubling patterns: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reportedly made 70 trips by private jet from Gannavaram to Hyderabad, Lokesh made 77, and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan an astonishing 122 trips. Unlike Jagan’s privately funded travel, these journeys clearly burden the public exchequer.
As this information circulates widely on social media, the ruling government is facing uncomfortable questions.
Ironically, pro-TDP media, by highlighting Jagan’s trips, only exposed the frequent and costlier travels of the TDP and Jana Sena leaders. In the process, allied media stirred controversy through over-enthusiasm and poor judgment.
