Akbaruddin had given a hate speech against the Hindus at Nirmal in Adilabad district in 2012. Although he was arrested and released on bail 40 days later, the shocking truth is that a charge sheet has not been filed so far in the case.
The police are obviously acting on instructions from their political bosses who happen to be the TRS. So what happens if a charge sheet is not filed?
As per the law, if a charge sheet is not filed within 36 months from the date of registration of the FIR, the accused can file a discharge petition in the Court under Section 468 of the criminal procedure court.
