According to reports, Ram Charan will headline Bhansali’s next production, a historical adventure drama set against a jungle backdrop.
Sources reveal that the project has evolved from an earlier concept linked to Rowdy Rathore 2. Initially, writer K. V. Vijayendra Prasad had developed a script for the sequel, but it did not progress as expected.
The story was later reworked by Durgesh Singh, known for Gullak Season 2 and Shakti Shalini, transforming it into a period jungle adventure tailored to suit Ram Charan’s image.
The film is said to be directed by a leading Bollywood filmmaker and is being planned as a pan-India project. It will be shot in Hindi and dubbed into Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Interestingly, Bhansali and Ram Charan had earlier explored a collaboration based on the story of Maharaja Suheldev.
While that project didn’t materialise, this new film is said to be equally ambitious in scale and vision.
