With the election date fast approaching in Maharashtra, the situation is heating up in the state.
Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party is already in news for all wrong reasons with their party members attacking the AAP office in Mumbai with brooms way back in February.
Yesterday, its leader Ajit Pawar was arrested with Rs 4.85 lakh without proper documentation. This coincided with Prime Minister Modi comments that the party was in reality ‘Naturally Corrupt Party’.
No matter what happens in Maharastra, where Modi has claimed that Congress and NCP would not win more than 10 seats, there are others who feel that NCP would surely win one award this season.
And that would be the Swachh Bharat Award for having the cleanest party headquarters in Mumbai city.
Well, the office has been nominated as it has the least number of visitors evident from the memorabilia carrying images of Pawar and his family that lie in a heap in the gallery. This naturally ensures that the premises remain clean with little effort.
Also, the office apparently serves four types of tea to the rare visitor who comes by.
Well, NCP indeed deserves the award for putting in minimum efforts to maintain a ‘clean’ image.
