This lady minister scores negative marks in Jagan test!

If reports coming from the YSR Congress party sources are to be believed, Andhra Pradesh state health and family welfare minister Vidadala Rajini might have to face the axe in the next assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.

According to party sources, Rajini, who represents Chilakaluripet assembly constituency in Palnadu district, has scored negative points in all the surveys commissioned by party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in the recent past.

Even the latest survey conducted by Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), Rajini scored only 40 percent of marks. The committee submitted a report to Jagan saying that she is bound to lose the seat, if she is given ticket again from Chilakaluripet.

Party sources said apart from the survey reports, Jagan has been flooded with a large number of complaints from the party leaders against Rajini. In fact, she joined the YSRC just before the 2019 elections and won the seat only because of Jagan wave.

Thanks to her extensive lobbying, she was lucky enough to get the cabinet berth in the second phase of cabinet expansion. But there are complaints that she has not been accessible to the party cadre in her constituency and she is hardly bothered about the problems of the local people and that of the party workers.

Moreover, Jagan has also reportedly received a lot of allegations against Rajini about her corrupt activities. The party leaders themselves submitted evidence to the chief minister about how much she would collect for doing their work in the constituency.

Her own cabinet colleague who is looking after the party activities in Palnadu also brought to the notice of Jagan how Rajini has been minting money in various works including sand supply and mining.

Though Rajini has been creating a positive image for herself through an extensive campaigning on social media, the minister told the chief minister that the ground realities in Chilakaluripet are completely different.

“Moreover, Rajini has got more enemies than friends within the party in the constituency because of her attitude. Though she rose to a high position within a short span of entering politics, she lost her reputation as fast as her growth. She is bound to lose the seat, if she is given the ticket again,” a party leader said.
