Sreeleela, The Overrated Actress In Tollywood

Sreeleela, The Overrated Actress In Tollywood

Sreeleela is the actress who came with a bang. She surprised everyone with her active dance moves, which are not so common for heroines. Apart from that, she had two back-to-back hits with Pelli SandaD and Dhamaka.

Well, in Pelli SandaD she appeared like a damsel, like an angel of beauty, and the credit goes to K. Raghavendra Rao. In Dhamaka she appeared like a mass-appealing heroine as well, and the credit goes to its stupendous success. In both films she showcased her dancing talent.

Eventually she got several offers, but nothing appealed to the audience. The point to be understood is that for any actress to be successful in her career and crawl up the ladder for longevity, she should be accepted by the female audience as well.

Samantha, Keerthy Suresh, and Sai Pallavi are examples. But Sreeleela has failed to appeal to that bunch of audience even now. The reasons are that she did not showcase her true acting talent. She is seen only as a dancer and not as an actress who can really emote the scenes and hold the audience.

After dancing for the famous "Kissik" song in Pushpa 2, people look at her more as a special song dancer than a heroine.

Even in Ustaad Bhagat Singh, despite having an interesting long role, she failed to connect with the audience. Some feel that even if the characters were swapped between Raashii Khanna and Sreeleela, things would have been different.

However, she is still getting offers from different industries. It is not just the commercial success that matters.

The likability and loveability of the audiences of all sections are important for a heroine's career longevity, and that comes with true acting talent.

She should nurture herself in this regard. As of now she appears to be overrated actress by several critics.
