TDP Will Lose, If It Goes Alone In Polls!

TDP Will Lose, If It Goes Alone In Polls!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has done the biggest mistake of his life by breaking alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party and pulling his party out of the NDA.

This was the opinion expressed by BJP floor leader in the state assembly P Vishnukumar Raju.

“The TDP could come to power in the state in 2014, only because of the support extended by the BJP and Jana Sena Party, that too with a slender margin of votes. It could get just five lakh votes more than the YSR Congress party,” he reminded.

Now that the TDP has no support from the BJP or the Jana Sena Party, it has to contest the elections alone.

“And if it goes alone, it is bound to lose in the elections. The TDP cannot dream of returning to power in 2019 under any circumstances,” Raju said.

The BJP leader expressed view that the TDP graph was gradually going down, while that of YSR Congress party is rising steeply.

“We do not have any plans, as of now, of forging alliance with any party in 2019. We shall cross the bridge when it comes,” he said.

On Naidu’s “Dharma Porata Deeksha” against the Centre, Raju said it was actually an “Adharma Poratam” as there is no stuff in Naidu’s arguments.

The BJP leader said he would write to the Centre demanding a CBI probe into the allegations of corruption in Pattiseema project.
