There is nothing wrong in making criticism against rivals in politics. But it should have some sense, rhyme and reasoning.
The Telugu Desam Party leaders do not seem to have any such quality.
In tune with the thinking of their boss chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, they are desperately trying to prove that the YSR Congress party is hand in glove with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
In the process, they are talking through their hats and proving themselves ridiculous stuff.
On Friday, senior TDP leader Varla Ramaiah alleged that former minister Kanna Lakshminarayana had dropped his plan to defect from the BJP into the YSRC at the eleventh hour due to BJP chief Amit Shah.
According Ramaiah, the BJP president had called up YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and requested him not to take Kanna Lakshminarayana into the YSRC. And Jagan told Kanna to remain in the BJP and not to come into his party.
“This shows that the YSRCP is being controlled by the BJP,” the TDP leader said.
This is nothing but absolutely ridiculous talk. If BJP chief wants Kanna to remain in his party, he would call Kanna directly (as is the talk in BJP circles) and request him to stay back.
He would offer either a big position or some other inducement to force Kanna drop his plan to join the YSRC. Why should he call Jaganmohan Reddy?
Intha chinna logic ela miss ayyaru, Ramaiah garu?
