TDP government targeting YSRC leaders!

YSR Congress party leader Jakkampudi Raja’s arrest in Ramachandrapuram of East Godavari district caused an uproar in political circles.

Ramachandrapuram town observed a bandh on Monday in protest against the manhandling of Raja by SI Nagaraju.

According to the reports, the SI asked the YSRCP leader to remove his car that was parked beside a road at the Masjid Centre.

Alleging that the SI spoke rudely and arrested Jakkampudi Raja, the YSRCP leaders are staging a protest.

Condemning the police highhandedness, YSR Congress demanded immediate action against the police sub inspector who had assaulted Party leader on a flimsy ground.

"The assault on Jakkampudi Raja by a sub inspector is being viewed very seriously by the Party leadership and we demand immediate action against the erring official as promised to our senior leader by the top police official," party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma told reporters.

Opposition leaders are being targeted time and again and some police officials are behaving like party workers instead of discharging their duties impartially.
