Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had a brief chat with power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan at Guntur on Friday, if the reports that appeared in a section of media are to be believed.
Both Naidu and Pawan attended at the “pratishtapana” (installation) of Sri Bhoo Sametha Dasavathara Venkateshwara Swamy at the newly constructed temple at Namburu village in Guntur district.
Initial reports indicated that though both of them walked together side by side, they neither shook hands nor greeted each other. They did not even exchange pleasantries with a smile, let alone doing the talk.
In fact, Naidu was seen completely ignoring Pawan and the latter, too, did not acknowledge the presence of the chief minister and moved in his own way. They did not even look at each other.
However, after the consecration of the presiding deity, both Naidu and Pawan had to wait for some time till the rituals were completed.
In the meantime, Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamy of Datta Peetham, who was conducting the rituals, took them into the adjacent room and talked to them.
Apparently, there were no other person in the room, except Swamy, Naidu and Pawan.
Nobody could tell what transpired among them, but TDP sources said Swamy only spoke spiritual matters with Naidu and Pawan, while the local leaders said he tried to broker true between the two leaders. On this occasion, Naidu and Pawan had a brief discussion.
However, it is not known whether the leaders agreed with the Swamy or not, but they came out and left in their own routes without uttering a word.
