Secret Report on YSRCP District Presidents Reaches Jagan

Secret Report on YSRCP District Presidents Reaches Jagan

Despite taking an active role himself, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is reportedly unhappy with the performance of some district presidents, especially at the grassroots level.

Senior leaders were appointed to lead the party at the district level, with Jagan clearly stating that responsibilities such as candidate selection for the upcoming elections would lie with them.

However, several complaints have reached the YSRCP high command, suggesting that a few district presidents are not functioning up to expectations.

This dissatisfaction has grown among the cadre, who fear political damage if poor leadership continues. Most complaints are centered around districts in the twin Godavari region and parts of Rayalaseema.

In response, Jagan is said to have sought confidential reports on the performance of all district presidents.

He plans to summon those underperforming to understand the reasons behind their lack of activity. These could include legal cases, business issues, or other personal challenges.

Sources indicate that Jagan is especially upset because he is personally putting in serious effort, and the party cadre is energetic. In such a scenario, lax leadership at the district level is unacceptable to him.

Based on the reports, Jagan is expected to confront some district presidents directly and take a clear stance.

He is not shying away from replacing those who fail to perform, as he believes that continuing with ineffective leaders could demoralize the party workers.

Jagan’s swift action shows that he is serious about improving district-level leadership ahead of the elections.
